Community Guidelines

FlixNChill is a social platform built around a shared love of film. To ensure that our platform remains a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for all creators and viewers, we require all users to adhere to these Community Guidelines.

Respect the Community

No Hate Speech: We have a zero-tolerance policy for content promoting violence or hatred.
No Bullying or Solicitation: Do not target individuals for malicious attacks, doxing, or harassment. You must not request or attempt to solicit personal, identifying, or contact information from another member or our team.
No Impersonation: Do not create accounts that mimic or impersonate other users, creators, celebrities, or brands. Any attempt to mislead the community regarding your identity is prohibited and will result in immediate revocation of your handle.
Plagiarism: Write your own reviews and hot takes. You must not plagiarize anyone else's writing. If you quote someone, give them credit.
Constructive Criticism: Disagreements about film are natural, but they must remain respectful.

Content Restrictions

No Illegal Content: Do not post content that violates any laws.
No Explicit Material: FlixNChill is not a platform for pornography.
No Graphic Violence: Do not upload content intended to shock or disgust.
Spoiler Malice: Deliberately ruining movies or shows for others without using the built-in Spoiler Tag is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
Misinformation: We reserve the right to remove any content that disseminates misinformation, disinformation, or related manipulations (including viral sloganeering or review-bombing campaigns).
AI & Metadata Manipulation: You must not attempt to manipulate, spam, or intentionally poison the metadata or AI engines that power FlixNChill.
Abuse of Systems: False reporting or weaponizing the block/report features to harass others is strictly forbidden.

Video Uploads & Editz

Creator Gate: To prevent spam and ensure quality, only trusted community members can upload Editz. Your account must be at least one week old or officially Verified to unlock upload privileges.
Content Authenticity: You must accurately link your Edit to the specific movie or TV show it references. Falsely referencing popular titles to manipulate visibility (clout-chasing) is a direct violation of our standards and will result in immediate content takedown, account suspension, or a permanent ban.

Copyright & IP

Only upload videos and content that you have created yourself or that you have the legal right to share. Do not upload full unedited movies, TV shows, or other copyrighted materials without explicit permission.

Tribe & Club Governance

Leadership Responsibility: Creators, Admins, and Moderators are responsible for the culture and content within their Tribes/Clubs. You must actively enforce these Community Guidelines within your spaces.
Consequences of Violation: Failure to moderate illegal, explicit, or highly abusive content will result in the immediate suspension or permanent deletion of the Tribe/Club itself. Leaders who actively participate in or willfully ignore these violations may face permanent account termination.
Ownership Continuity: To protect the community, FlixNChill has the right to seize a Tribe or Club if the Creator is deemed missing. We may assume ownership or transfer rights to active moderators to prevent the community from collapsing due to inactive leadership.

Our Rights

As the operators of FlixNChill, we reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether content violates these guidelines and to take necessary action without prior notice, including account termination. We also reserve the right to consider a member's off-platform behavior (e.g., on other social networks) as part of our moderating process.
