Who can post links in the FlixNChill Town Square?

To protect our community from spam and malicious links, only Verified users and official Brands are permitted to post URLs in the Town Square feed.

How do CineClubs and watch parties work?

CineClubs are member-run communities centered around specific genres, franchises, or directors. You can join public clubs or create private clubs with your mutuals to schedule watch parties and discussions.

How do I report spoilers or malicious users?

Use the report flag on any post or comment to send it to platform moderators. You can also block users directly to instantly hide all their content and messages.

Social & Community

Everything you need to know about the Town Square, Hot Takes, and CineClubs.

The Town Square

The Town Square is the public heartbeat of FlixNChill. Here you can participate in the Daily Hot Take, post reviews, and discuss film news.

Link Restrictions: To protect our community from spam and malicious links, only Verified users and official Brands can post URLs in the Town Square.
Spoiler Tags: Always use the Spoiler toggle when discussing plot points. Deliberately spoiling movies for others is a violation of our Community Guidelines.

CineClubs: Your Private Hubs

CineClubs are private, invite-only spaces designed for collaborative watch parties.

Privacy Note: FlixNChill does not monitor or view your private club conversations. We deeply respect your privacy within these spaces.

How Watch Sync Works: To make clubs function seamlessly, the system tracks participation for the nominated club film only. Once you finish watching the club's selected movie, it automatically updates your status so the club can proceed to the next phase. Your broader watch history remains completely private and is not shared with the club.

Club Roles & Permissions

Creator: Has absolute authority. Can promote Admins, kick users, force voting interventions, and delete the club.
Admin: Can kick standard members, update club settings, and manage the watch phases.
Member: Can chat, suggest movies for the pool, and vote.

Curating Collections

The Curation Studio allows you to build custom "Rank Decks" of your favorite movies and TV shows, complete with drag-and-drop reordering.

Privacy Controls: You have full control over who sees your collections. You can toggle them between Public (discoverable by others on your profile) and Private (only visible to you).
The Discussion Vault: Every public collection acts as a mini-community forum. Users can like, save, and leave comments on your curation. Just like the Town Square, if you discuss plot details in the vault, you must use the spoiler toggle!

Community Feedback Hub

The Community Feedback Hub is where you can help shape the future of FlixNChill by participating in discussions, reporting bugs, and tracking platform updates.

Submitting Feedback: You can submit posts under Discussion or Bug Reports, complete with a title, description, and an optional image attachment.
The VIP Roadmap (Premium Only): The "Upcoming Features" tab acts as our VIP Roadmap. Submitting Feature Requests and voting on upcoming features is a privilege reserved exclusively for our Premium subscribers, giving them a priority voice in our development pipeline.

Safety & Moderation

We provide powerful tools to curate your experience and stay safe:

Blocking Users: If you block someone, their messages will immediately disappear from your view, and they will not be able to interact with you.
Reporting Posts: Use the Report flag on any post or comment that violates our guidelines. Our team reviews these reports promptly.
