1. Step-by-Step Connection Guide
Unlike platforms that require downloading and uploading files, FlixNChill connects directly to your Simkl account:
Open the Migration Assistant
Go to Account Settings > Import Data and select Simkl.
Click Authorize Simkl
Click the Authorize Simklbutton. You will be redirected to Simkl's official login window where you can approve the connection. FlixNChill never sees your password.
Automatic Sync
Once authorized, your movies, TV shows, anime, watch history, and episode logs sync directly into your session without any files to download.
Review & Save
Preview your parsed titles, confirm your preferences, and sync them into your FlixNChill profile.

3. Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay for Simkl VIP to export my watch history?
No. Simkl locks manual CSV downloads behind their paid VIP plan, but FlixNChill uses direct account connection at no cost. You do not need to purchase a VIP subscription to transfer your library.
Are anime series and anime movies imported?
Yes. FlixNChill syncs anime titles along with your regular television shows and movies, including your completed episode progress.
How does TV and episode tracking translate over?
FlixNChill syncs your exact episode completions for all active and completed shows. When you open a series on FlixNChill, you will see your exact watched seasons and episodes already marked.
How do Simkl's 1–10 ratings convert to FlixNChill?
FlixNChill uses a 5-star rating system with half-stars (1.0 to 5.0 in 0.5 increments). Your Simkl 1–10 rating maps directly by dividing by 2: a 10 becomes 5.0 stars, 9 becomes 4.5 stars, 8 becomes 4.0 stars, 7 becomes 3.5 stars, down to 1 becoming 0.5 stars.
Will this overwrite ratings I have already entered on FlixNChill?
No. FlixNChill preserves any ratings you have already logged on the platform. If a title is already in your library, your existing score stays in place, while any additional watch dates or new episode progress are merged in.
Does FlixNChill store my Simkl login credentials?
Never. The connection process takes place directly on Simkl's official website. FlixNChill only receives a secure session token to read your media library and never has access to your password.
Can I sync again later if I log more titles on Simkl?
Yes. You can return to Account Settings at any time and reconnect to pull in newly logged films, shows, or anime.
