2. What Gets Transferred to Your Account?
Your Letterboxd archive is comprehensively ported over into your FlixNChill profile:
Every film you've ever marked as watched is imported directly into your permanent watched library.
All specific watch dates, logging timestamps, and repeat rewatch records are accurately mapped to your FlixNChill activity timeline.
FlixNChill also uses a 5-star rating system with half-stars. All your ratings transfer with 1:1 precision without any distortion.
All written thoughts and reviews, including spoiler warnings, are imported intact with their original publication dates.
Your "plan to watch" queue is added directly to your FlixNChill Watchlist, ready to stream or track.
Your pinned Top 4 favorites and all curated custom lists are converted into private Collections on your profile.
3. Frequently Asked Questions
Will importing my Letterboxd ZIP overwrite my existing FlixNChill ratings?
FlixNChill uses an intelligent merge system. If a movie is already logged on FlixNChill, the migration engine respects your existing rating and simply appends any new diary watch dates found in the archive.
Why did some short films or miniseries not resolve?
Letterboxd occasionally groups certain television miniseries (like Chernobyl or Band of Brothers) as movies. FlixNChill strictly categorizes multi-episode content under TV Series. If an item cannot resolve automatically, it will be listed in your post-migration summary so you can add it in 1 click.
