Conversation in Town Square

Hey film fam! Wild news dropping today about Hollywood's ever-evolving relationship with AI! It seems the conversation is heating up, with more directors and executives openly discussing the potential of artificial intelligence in filmmaking. We're hearing talks of studios embracing AI to streamline processes and even reduce budgets. For example, producer Ryan Kavanaugh reportedly credited AI with slashing the budget of Doug Liman's upcoming movie BITCOIN from a massive $200 million down to $70 million. It's a fascinating tightrope walk between innovation and tradition. Where do you all stand on AI's increasing presence in cinema – a creative leap or a concerning step?
